The Role
- Overall responsibility for management of UKbased Relationship Management team responsible for WorldPay’s Gaming / Gambling customer portfolio
- Ownership of executive relationship / strategic development of a portfolio of client relationships - delivery of financial budgets, contract management, commercial development and control of compliance & risk requirements
- Development & evolution of Payment Strategy for client portfolio across whole payments value chain - working with Product team & enabling functions to deliver products and services that meet client requirements
Key Accountabilities
- Management and development of WorldPay Relationship Management team responsible forUKclient portfolio covering Gaming / Gambling market verticals
- Delivery of annual income budget for client portfolio, meeting retention and growth targets
- Oversight of production, ongoing development and delivery of tactical and strategic plan for client portfolio
- Development of strategic relationships with Clients' executive & management teams
- Ensuring active management of contractual agreement with clients, ensuring delivery of contractual commitments, service proposition and commercial objectives
- Identifying and exploiting all available cross sell opportunities across WorldPay product set - gateway, processing, acquiring, risk products, treasury services
- Identification and delivery of additional revenue streams through new commercial opportunities with clients
- Identification and delivery of new market entry opportunities for clients to develop global coverage – matrix-managing WorldPay functional teams to deliver
- Work with Schemes Management team to ensure scheme compliance requirements are met on ongoing basis in each global market
- Work with Schemes Management team to identify opportunities to enhance clients' business and operating model through detailed understanding of Card Scheme rules & regulations - and applicability to clients' business models
- Identify impact of Payment Industry market developments and updated regulation / legislation (inc. PSD, SEPA etc) and work with clients to understand and mitigate impact on relationship and programm
- Oversee quarterly strategic and operational reviews with clients’ Executive teams - to review partnership health, issues and new opportunities
- Work with Legal, Operational Risk & Regulatory Risk to ensure legal & regulatory requirements are met for the portfolio on an ongoing basis
- Oversight of delivery of annual Client credit reviews
Skills & Experience
- Strong global payments experience
- Extensive people management and leadership experience
- Strong Relationship Management / Business Development skills, with experience in global markets
- Strong commercial and P&L management acumen, with proven ability to identify and deliver commercial opportunities through B2B partnerships
- Extensive contract & commercial negotiation skills
- Strong influencing & persuasion skills - to deliver and balance both internal and client requirements

Scope of Role:
- Management of a highly demanding international customer base and a Relationship Management team
- Operate in a fast changing market and business environment
- Deep knowledge of Payment industry (gateway, processing, acquiring) knowledge is required
- Systems knowledge (internet payment technology) is required
People Management:
- Managing a team of approx. 15 Relationship Manager
Financial Management:
- Responsible for delivery of significant customer portfolio and corresponding financial target
