An opportunity to join the relatively newly established eCommerce Pricing team whose remit it is to develop the pricing strategy, pricing models and provide governance.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain and develop existing pricing models in line with business requirements
• Own the pricing model development roadmap and implement/maintain effective change control processes
• Propose and implement stretching technical advancements to existing pricing tools and make recommendations for new products and platforms
• Build and control a governance structure around the development of pricing models
• Work intimately with strategic supplier management to obtain reliable cost data for input into the model
• Conduct profitability, price sensitivity, risk and scenario analysis and identify opportunities for price optimisation
• Work with sales process manager to ensure tools are appropriately functioning within CRM
• Support the development of the e-commerce global pricing strategy
• Support in key RFP/tender/renegotiation processes as required
• Develop and produce global pricing reports to provide insightful analysis

Skills & Experience

• Significant practical experience and expertise in VBA Development
• Very high level of competency in statistical/analytical programmes e.g. Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL Server and SAS
• Awareness and ability to use other programming and analytical tools
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong relationship builder - with an ability to interact with sales people
• A self starter
• Demonstrating initiative, high energy, and ambition
• Cross cultural skills

Experience:

• Quantitative concepts/forecasting
• Costing models
• Understanding of the economics of the payment industry, particularly credit card pricing, interchange and card scheme fees is desired
• Educated to degree level ideally in a business related subject
